Nitrogen Sponge

Nitrogen SpongeIACX Energy's Nitrogen Sponge cleans nitrogen-contaminated natural gas at low-pressures and volumes, making an otherwise unsellable product sellable.  Our non-cryogenic, environmentally friendly Sponge units are small scaled, mobile and guaranteed to work, even with the most stringent sales line specifications.  Whether your natural gas is laden with 40% nitrogen or just 4%, the Sponge will sweeten it with only minimal hydrocarbon losses.  Each unit is controlled by programmable logic controller that can be accessed from any computer, allowing the producer to know the exact operating conditions, day or night.  An IACX representative will maintain its assets and oversee all operations, though only minimal oversight is required.  Whether you are looking to sweeten 300MCF/D or 5MMCF/D, the Nitrogen Sponge could be your best solution for a difficult problem.

Rollout of a Nitrogen Sponge Unit

If you have questionable reserves of high-nitrogen gas, the Nitrogen Sponge allows for economic, small scale processing at the well head or compressor station without  high capital outlays or 'bets on the come'.  If expectations are exceeded, you can put another Sponge Unit down in tandem.... or replace it with a larger one.  This 'fiscal proportionality' allows the producer to cash flow a project while vetting the reserve or growing the opportunity at a measured pace.  And if expectations are disappointing, well, the unit is mobile!

While our Sponge units are not for sale, IACX will work diligently with producers to arrange a compensation plan that fits the need. Be it in the form of a lease, a percentage-of-proceeds or a joint-venture arrangement, an IACX transaction will embody a spirit of cooperation with producers.

Finally, if our Nitrogen Sponge is not right for your application, we will always try to point you in the right direction.
